Arriving early, as usual & as recommended by The HGG, c. 13.15 for a 16.55 flight to NYC. Checked in online yesterday, but printing up the boarding pass today I saw – I’m flying to Minneapolis! What! The NYC La Guardia flight had been cancelled but no notice was sent to me. My itinerary is now a 15.15 flight to Minneapolis - St. Paul (a short hour), a 3-hour layover & then a flight to La Guardia landing c. 22.55 instead of 20.20. This assumes good weather, no guarantees.
If I had allowed the customary two hours check-in for a domestic flight, unhappiness would have been the result. Let’s hear it for The Happy Gigsters’ Guide.
